When the Blight saw a need for a trench line assault vehicle, the Landkrieger was chosen as the winning design. Its innovative piston-driven suspension allows it to reach high speeds on rough terrain while also permitting it to navigate vertical grades that a tracked vehicle could not. It's dual hydraulic "fists" allow the Landkrieger to thrive in close combat and use nearby objects and weapons as thrown projectiles, including nearby infantry units. You would not want to run into a Landkrieger in the trenches!
"Landskrieger", according to Google Translate, works out to be "country warrior" in German. Note that the kickstarter spelled this unit as "Lanskrieger" and "Landkrieger" at various points. Given that only "Landskrieger" translates completely, that seems most likely. The Unit eventually ended up with the name: Landkrieger
